Pathlabs Core Value: Be Unforgettable

We recently took a look at our company’s core values. We asked, “what is most important to us as a group of people and as a company?”. One performance standard everyone could agree on is going above and beyond for our co-workers and partner agencies. Good service is essential to our business practices and we aim for unforgettable service.

We have four company values: People First, Be Unforgettable, Own It, and Master the Craft. In today’s blog, we are diving into Pathlabs’ core value Be Unforgettable.

At an all-hands meeting, we had Pathlabbers vote on which coworkers best represented each of our new core values. David Myers, everyone’s favorite Account Manager, received the most votes for Be Unforgettable.

Here is what he had to say:

Damon Banks, Director of Engineering, expanded on this. Damon said, “Be Unforgettable is not just being memorable for memorable sake; as in being loud and obnoxious. It is about adding the “Wow” factor to the experience. I remember watching the movie Titanic for the first time in theaters and being awestruck by the fact that I was seeing this gigantic boat being lifted into the air and breaking in half! It was simply unbelievable to be watching with my own eyes. It wasn’t the director’s choice to “sink” the boat that way, that is actually how it happened, BUT the director took the extra time (went the extra mile) to frame the shots, cuts, music, etc. to create this “Wow” moment that stunned millions. In the same way, when someone works for or is a client of Pathlabs we should strive to do what is outside of the standards of expectation to deliver that unforgettable experience.”

We want to “wow” our partners in a way that is unexpected. We want the Pathlabs service to not be just a service, but an experience. Even better - an unforgettable experience.

Being unforgettable takes initiative, proactivity, and creativity. It is going outside of the standards of what is expected. It is recognizing that strong performance, insightful reports, good communication, and solid recommendations are table stakes. Working with Pathlabs should be an experience that people never forget.

Make them say, “woah”.
