The Drum Awards for Marketing Americas celebrate outstanding individuals and companies in marketing and communication sectors, spanning over 40 highly competitive categories. 

Earning a category nomination is a testament to excellence and grants significant exposure to the nominees and their associated companies.

The Future Leader category recognizes individuals who demonstrate clear signs of leadership potential, already making substantial contributions to vital business areas and rapidly advancing their professional skills.

Laurie Devore: Pathlabs’ Future Leader 

This award recognition by The Drum is a noteworthy honor, making it even more special that it comes in the form of Laurie’s Future Leader nomination. 

While not initially pursuing media or marketing, Laurie found herself at Pathlabs soon after college, quickly becoming our company's first-ever Senior Account Manager. In this role, she successfully manages multiple account associates and high-touch agency partners, helping Pathlabs maintain its Inc. 5,000 entity status. 

Thanks to her proactivity and self-determination, Laurie has also endeavored to implement two milestone quality assurance and actualization projects across our service teams of around sixty employees. This initiative markedly improved makegood and value-added metrics across Laurie’s accounts, among others, in Q4 2023. 

If this wasn’t enough, while simultaneously contributing to digital media execution excellence at Pathlabs, Laurie has built up a career as an author, having published three books with major publishers like Macmillan and Harper Collins. 

Further standing out is the new leadership philosophy Laurie is pioneering, rooted in people, passion, and promotion, which has made our team absolutely rave about her, and we have every reason to; she is our future leader.

What’s Next?

We eagerly anticipate The Drum's announcement of the final Future Leader category winner on June 5th. Regardless of the outcome, Laurie's nomination is robust evidence of her growing leadership potential, which is recognized within Pathlabs and across the broader industry.
